Inspired by a 1950s classic, the OPERA BAG features a smart, functional design: A longer handle loops through a shorter one to close the bag in one elegant movement, making it easy to wear on your wrist — hands-free and stylish all night long.

During this 1-hour creative workshop, you’ll explore the fundamentals of handbag design:

•⁠  ⁠Choose your favorite from a curated selection of high-quality leftover fabrics
•⁠  ⁠Add unique details like feather trims or bold linings
•⁠  ⁠Discover the history and cultural significance of the OPERA BAG
•⁠  ⁠Get tips from fashion professionals on materials and finishing touches

This experience is designed for beginners — no prior knowledge of sewing or pattern making is needed. If you do have experience with cutting patterns or sewing, you'll find the session straightforward but still enjoyable and creatively fulfilling.

Please note: For logistical and quality reasons, there is no sewing involved during the session (neither by hand nor machine). After you've prepared your custom design, the bag will be professionally sewn and finished by our expert tailors at our atelier.
Due to our use of high-quality deadstock materials, the availability of colors, patterns, trims, and feathers varies constantly — making each creation truly one-of-a-kind.

Your completed bag will be ready for pickup the following day — perfect for visitors and tourists with a short stay in Rome (please plan time for the pick-up accordingly). Shipping is also available upon request.
