Inspired by Roman born fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli, who designed one of the first wrap dresses in Europe. Recognizable for its v-neckline and its fitted, self-tie shape that emphasized feminine curves, the wrap dress quickly became a potent symbol of freedom and independence for women.
