F I L I P P A – Our iconic caftan-inspired dress. It is both chic and smart, wether you are at a wedding party, summer island hopping or spending the day at the office. In two words, that day-to-evening piece that becomes an essential of any well equipped wardrobe. Embellished by 7 Italian hand-embroidered frog buttons, the dress transforms into a duster or coat, and elevates your everyday shirt and jeans. The accompanying belt gives it shape in the waist.
Choose the length in longuette (the dress ends just below the knee) or long (the dress reaches below the ankles).
Handmade in our Roman Atelier from 100% silk and embroidered velvet.

Material, Care & Size Guide
Silk is a natural fiber (often considered a luxury fiber) spun from the cocoon of caterpillars. It is soft, shiny and smooth to touch. Due to the fact it is a poor conductor of heat, it makes for a perfect and light summer fabric.
To enjoy your silk piece for a long time, avoid long exposure to sunlight as that can fade and weaken the fabric. Only handwash and hang to air dry. Silk is a wrinkle resistant fabric. Should wrinkles occur you can use steam or low iron heat to remove them easily. Make sure to not touch hot iron to the fabric, hover a few centimeters above.
